i had open plantar fasciitis and tarsel tunnel release surgery 7 days ago. doc say i have to be totally on crutches for at least 3 weeks. then i go to the boot cast and start putting pressure, little by little on my foot. i am hoping and praying that this surgery will be a success. has anyone else had this surgery with success? seems i just hear all the negative responses. it could be that all the successful surgeries don't come here, they are all out walking somewhere.

i get my stitches out tomorrow, all 12 of them! i can't wait. it's been two weeks today since my surgery. i am surprised at how much pain i am still having while doing nothing but laying around with my foot up. what will it be like when i start using my foot?

got my stitches out and it felt nice to be able to wash my foot. its day seventeen after the surgery. i can't start trying to use the foot until the 16th of july. that will be 4 week.
while my foot still gets shooting and burning pain in it. i feel that this surgery has been a success. i hope and pray it is.
