Since I was a child I have always had these random chest pains. I have tried to identify them over the years. I am currently 23 and from what I know, I am healthy. When i was young, the hospital said it was most likely a pulled muscle, but can it be that till now?... I did some research on chest pains, and came up with possibly Pleurisy, Precordial Catch Syndrome, which they have no idea what causes it and usually goes away on its own, but it hasn't so far.. I get these sharp pains, on both sides under the breast to the side, sometimes it feels as if on top of my chest area. It hurts to breathe in or out deeply, and or to move. A few weeks ago, it woke me up. It felt as if inside my chest the muscle was stretching, it is tender to the touch. The other day i was sitting at my desk, and i get a shock, in my chest area, like when you get shocked from electricity. As well.. i feel more so lately that my breathing has been more short, unless that is just my nerves. I'm not sure.

anybody have any ideas. I scheduled a Dr's appt in a few weeks to get it checkd out.
