View Full Version : Visit to Podiatrist = Bliss

After suffering in virtual silence with sore feet - small bumps appearing on soles of feet, burning feet even when I wasn't on them (i.e. in bed) and a case of having to soak my feet for relief whenever I spent more than 3 hours in a day barefoot. However, wearing shoes was no problem - this seemed to cushion my soles.

A quick visit to the Podiatrist who diagnosed a total of 18 corns spread across the balls of my feet only made me realize that this could be controlled. He treated my feet and elimated the corns - wow, what a difference - it was bliss to walk out and not hurt.

Of course, my sensitive footies will always need to be supervised - keep checking for such things as corns etc. and trying to prevent them rather than curing them each time - but the podiatrist can certainly make a huge difference - as there is nothing more depressing for your day than feet that hurt.

What did the Dr. do to the corns? Did he just trim them or is there any help for them? I have very bad pain with mine and looking for any advice.
