Hi

I play soccer and about three weeks ago I took a blow on the top of my foot. It was very sore for a few days afterwards but then seemed okay. Now everytime I play it is sore afterwards, but does go away. Our season finishes this weekend so I will take a long rest from soccer. Is this just a bruised bone that needs rest of should I get it checked out? The pain goes away after a few days.

hi i play soccer also and i have the exact same thing in both feet! someone said it may be a stress fracture..i dont know.. i still play on them and im doing ok. it is nice to know that im not the only one out there with this problem! when your feet hurt ice them and i put icy hot on them sometimes..it dosent do much..but its helps. the best thing for it though is to rest! a weekend off is usually all i need! if you have found somethign better to do, please let me know!

Sounds like you may have done your Metatarsal bone like David Beckham. Get it checked, X ray should do it.
