View Full Version : A three week followup

Well the catheter came out today. Three weeks after surgery, but only a week after the JP drain came out. I went from draining over a liter of fluid in my JP drain, to less than 100ml in one week.

The incisions from the laparoscopic surgery are just about healed. Two are puckered in… the vain part of me hopes they pop out. It’s funny how your mind works.

The best part so far, with the exception of a little squirt when I tried to pass gas, no leaks. We’ll see how this hold up over the next couple of weeks. I just hope the other function of the old pecker comes back to make my wife happy :)

Thanks for all the positive encouragement of this board.

Glad to hear you're doing well! Especially glad to hear there's no leaks! (That whole passing gas thing can be a problem... ;) )

I have one puckered incision... It's about an inch below my belly button and it looks like I've got two belly buttons. :D At least that's what my grandchildren say.

Keep us updated.
