Hello,

I'm a 20 year old male, about 240 pounds and 5'11", with no history of health problems relating to my heart or chest area, although i do have asthma. My cholesterol is high, about a 208. My blood sugar is ok, but i do have some grandparents who had diabetes.
The chest pain i am going to explain has happened several times over the past 3 to 4 months. While only lasting from thirty seconds to probably two minutes at most, it is a strange sensation that worries me. It feels like a tightness in my chest, on the left near my heart area, and the pain gets worse when i breathe in deeply. There have been times where i have felt the same pain but on the right side of my chest. I have gone to the doctor about it, and after having blood tests taken they haven't found anything. I've been researching the internet, and the only *symptoms* this may seem to match is Heartburn, lack of sleep, and improper breathing. Am i misinformed? What should i do?

Does it feel like someone punched you in the chest? Is the pain mostly on your left side and only occassionally on your right? Also, if you press down on the left side of your sternum and on the side of your chest by your left arm, do you feel the same type of pain. Ok sorry, but this is my last question for you, have you noticed any swelling?
