Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has thyroid problems here. I recently got my TSH tested and the results were.
Ok here are my results TSH 2.071 Their range was (0.47-5.01) Know labs have different ones.
I wonder if Thyroid is related to Kidney stones which I get alot and parathyroid.
I read where Parathyroid can be.
Thank you,

Hi,
I have hypothyroid yet its certainly related to my kidneys. I am being treated for metabolic acidosis due (which is caused by my kidney) it took 2 years for doctors to diagnose it and within that time my thyroid began to "act up". I received treatment for about 6mos for my thyroid yet it didn't help, someone else here wrote me to tell me they had the same problem but that the thyroid can be termed "non-thyroidal illness". If you have a chronic illness surrounding your kidneys that goes without treatment it can affect other areas of your body especially your thyroid. You may not have this but I certainly do and I thought I'd share. I still haven't received treatment for my kidneys yet so my thyroid is still giving me problems.

Thank you. I was told my thyroid is ok but I still think I am on the lower end of the scale. No matter what they say and now with diabetics I still think maybe the kidney stones I have had and treatment for that could have caused some of these other things like the diabetics. I might be wrong but I wonder.
Thank you so much and I hope you get some help soon.
