I hate filing my feet to make them soft. I find it's the same the next day again. Can anyone recommend something to get soft feet?

slough off as much of the dead scaly stuff as you can, slather 'em in vaseline, and put on a pair of socks...leave 'em that way til morning. then do it again. and again. and.....again! 'til it works!

well, if you go to a podiatrist, they will soak your feet in a bath for about 10 minutes (at least, mine does, anyway! It's bliss!) and then scrape off all of the dead skin and calluses. My mom uses something that the podiatrist gave her, called Kerasil. It is just basically an ointment that you put on the rough spots, after you have taken a shower or bath, and if you use it enough, the dead skin will just start to soften and fall off. Then you keep using it to prevent the calluses from coming back. I think it is only available in the podiatrist's office, but you may be able to find it in a store or on-line. It is usually about $15 a tube. Just follow whatever directions it says, and you will soon have softer feet without the need to slough! If you don't want to use that, AVON also makes a foot sloughing cream that is very very good.
