Is it normal for your WBC to fluctuate from week to week? Or is it something that should usually stay about the same unless you are fighting an infection?

My WBC was 5.5 on August 1st , then on October 10th or so it was 2.5 , then a few days later it was 2.6..its now 4.6. Dunno how or why but its changing on a weekly basis. I am going to a hematologist to see whats up with that..

Thanks for the reply. Let me know what happens at the doctor. I don't get my blood checked every week, but I have had it checked almost monthly over the past 6 months or so, and it fluctuates quite a bit. It's at 5.1 right now. I've always been in the range, but this is as low as it has ever been for me.

I don't normally get it checked more then a few times a year but this is the first time ever that it came back low. Plus I have other issues so we are trying to figure out what exactly is wrong. I will get back to you on this.
