View Full Version : Has my IUD gone bad?

monkey1111 10-20-2007, 01:50 AM I have had an IUD for about 7 years but just recently I have started menstral cramping for the 1st time since before I had it inserted. Could this be a sign it could be going bad? I know the easy fix is to go to the doctor, but thats a whole new message posting about fear of the Gyno.... BlueEyes2022 10-21-2007, 06:17 PM Yea same as what Kristi said...I think it is only 5 years also unless defferent ones are different for the time period...my sister just had that done and she said it only last for 5 years and right before the 5 years is up you have tot have a visit about having another one put in/getting tubes tied or just not having it done again...
