Ever since I switched my 1 yr old to regular milk, she is soaking through her diaper and clothes at night. She has been waking up really early for a while, but now she's waking up early and soaked. I give her a bottle of milk before bed as part of our routine. Is this a bad idea? She was drinking 8 ounces, but I am slowly reducing it so tonight she is down to 6 oz. I don't want to give her too little, but if she doesn't need a lot I'd rather her not wake up soaked in her own urine.
How much milk did you give your baby before bed around this age?

I always gave (still do) my DD (now almost 4) 10oz of milk in a sippy cup before bed. I agree with the above poster that you may want to up her diaper size. Sounds like she is outgroing them! If you happen to use cloth diapers, try just using disposables at night. Good luck! I really don't think it is too much for her at night. ;)

Try using Diaper Doublers. They sell them at Food Lion. Or if you can find them, Huggies Overnights. I agree, it's probably a diaper porblem, not a milk problem.

i reduced my 14 mo. old intake to 4 oz before bed and we use an overnight diaper much more heavy duty.
