This is my first post so apaologies if in wrong section. For 5 weeks now i have had a metallic taste in my mouth particularly when eating. I have recently 4 days ago stopped taking Prozac as i heard it was a possible cause I am now on Citalopran. I also been using a copper bracelet for the effects of arthritis. Could either of these be a cause, if not could someone point me in the right direction I am losing weight because eating is not enjoyable owing to the taste, thankyou Geoff UK

that has happened to me before too. It is really irritating when you taste the fork or spoon when you are eating. Yuck! Anyway, I never saw a dr about it, but I have heard that it could be realated to anemia. could you be iron deficient or low? I border anemia sometimes.

I was told by a doctor it can be related to diabetes. I also would get it the day after I drank A LOT (acetone breath). Which unfortunately was many days.
