I'm looking for help... this is slowly making me crazy. I haven't found any answers in the medical community.

One night in June of 2006 it felt like a switch was thrown, like a rubber band had been stretched taut from the base of my brain to my tail bone and was twanged between my shoulder blades and still is going... it's especially noticeable when I'm laying down to sleep. When it gets really bad the vibrations extend up to my earlobes, over my shoulders, and make my lips and nose tingle too; when it gets really bad it keeps me awake and my blood pressure goes sky high.

I thought for a long while it was better if I left off anything with caffeine. Then I gave up anything with NutraSweet and that definitely was a dead end. Originally I thought it was a heart thing but that's been cleared; my family practice doc calls it palpitations but I definitely don't agree. Any ideas, clues, what to do, how to get this to stop? After reading your threads about acid reflux and insatiable appetites I felt some kinship, I wondered if someone can give me some hope. Thanks.
