I was hoping that someone might could tell me if they think my husbands symptoms might be hernia related. He was told that he possibly had one a few yrs. ago.
*pain in navel area up through stomach so bad he can't bare
to lay on it.
*hard to breath at times
*acid reflux
* bloated feeling
* can't stand to mash on his stomach

Yes, and these symptoms can als signal a complication. The main danger with a hernia in this area, is a strungulated or obstructed bowel. I had these symptoms, as mine went back and forth intil the last time it stayed obstruced and I had emergency surgery. This can also be caused by other things so get him to a doctor ASAP. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for your reply. He has an appointment on Nov. 1st, he says its more painful to touch at times than others...keep him in your prayers!
