no way to tell from those blood tests and no way to tell from your symptoms
the ONLY way is by getting tested.
you should have no fears at all about it.
what you should fear is that if you do have it , not knowing will greatly reduce your lifespan.
odds are you don't have it, so go get the test and find out,you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!!!

hi,
thanks for the reply, with the blood test, i had read somewere that people with hiv tend to have low WBC, if i was to have it wouldnt my WBC be low,
and i frgot to mention that he also ejaculated in my mouth, wich made me extreamly angry but i spat it out straght away and went to the bathroom and washed my mouth out with water, is it possible that i could have caught some thing fom him??? and this happend 8 months ago, and i started getting symptoms 2 months ago, so it was 6 months until i started having strange symptoms, if i did contract hiv wouldnt i have shown symptoms earlier? How long do hiv symptoms last? Anywayz i have an appointment with doctor tomorrow to get tested, im keeping my fingers xd
thanks,
kjay

There is actually a slim chance that you could contract the virus if he ejaculated in your mouth. The only way this could happen though, is if you had fresh, open cuts in your mouth. Of course, I highly doubt this happened, and even if you did have an open cut, the odds of it happening are still slim. I'm sure you'll be fine. Just get tested, it's really all you can do. Symptoms are not a good way of diagnosing HIV. And just to avoid future confusion, the tests are highly accurate and can be taken within weeks of possible exposure.

it is impossible to answer that, because the symptoms effect people differently,no 2 people are the same, so to say they last x amount or it happens a certian amount of time cannot be said. i almost died when i got infected and my partner had never had any symptoms at all so somewhere in between that would be the norm.

the best and only sure way to know is by getting tested, you are doing that and it is the best thing to do. just keep in mind that the odds are that you are fine and if the worst happens its not the end of the world... that should get you thru the wait.
good luck

You cannot diagnose HIV based on symptoms like that rash. Rashs are caused by so many things. Now, don't take this as the gospel, but from what I've read, that rash typically occurs more so on your torso. Also, alcohol intolerance would not be caused by HIV. If you are so worried, then you must get tested. It's the only way to know. And since you have anxiety, I'd talk to a counselor, it will help. Don't go through life thinking you may have HIV, it's not a good way to live.

stop worrying,no matter what happens, hiv or not you will be around for those kids for a looong time. trust me. again it is impossible to connect that rash to an hiv infection unless you get tested and you know what your status is.

the best answer to you is to go get that test... it will make you feel a whole hell of alot better once you get the result. waiting or putting it off is not gonna help you at all.
good luck:cool:
don't feel bad about asking anything the worst question is the one not asked.

Im in a similar position myself but have tried to remain positive....but there are days I find that Im convincing myself I have the virus which always seems to bring the symptoms around......so I know its hard but try to relax and stay positive.....the chances are your fine. The powers that be also help me. i.e Religion.
