Hello, I have been doing pretty good lately and just passing sand and a few small stones. Very small. Then Sunday I felt a very wonderful(not) pain in my left side and yesterday it got alittle worse and last night it kept me up and today we will see. It isn't as bad as it could be but yet you know it is there.
I am sure many of you know exactly what I am talking about.
I just pray I can pass this soon. It has taken me months in the past to pass one of any size.
Thanks for listening.

I am so sorry! I really hope that it doesn't take months to pass this one! I am praying for you! I know kidney stones suck!! Be sure to drink plenty of water (I know, easier said than done, because for me, drinking any amount of water is a huge chore). I have heard it helps a lot in passing stones!!

Hi thank you so much for your prayers. I really appreciate that. Yes, water water water. lol I do good in the summer on that but winter I would rather not drink water. Weird huh. I have to force myself in the cold months. I think it has moved some. Thank the Lord. I was reading that drinking a lot of water is good if you have diabetics ,too. So that is another reason to drink more water.
I appreciate your prayers. How have you been,
Sno

Don't refrigerate the water in the winter and it is easier to get down. Sip warm lemon water too.

With the weather lately, I would hardly call this winter - forget what the calendar says!

Hi Sno....here you again on the rollercoaster ride!! :( I hate that ride. I can never get off! ;) How has your blood glucose been lately?? Are you on meds for it yet? I will pray for you that your stones will come out fast with little to no pain, ok??? Bye for now!

P.S. I forgot to add something. Guess what kind of doc I get to see in a few weeks? A GI doc. I really don't see the point in going, but my family is freaking out. I should just quit telling them things, ya know. But, it's kinda hard when your husband comes home to find you passed out on the bathroom floor with bright red blood all over my lower half of my body and the floor (and it's not coming from my kidney, either). EEEWWWW!!! So embarrassing, too!!

I've also been having constant pain for the last 3 months that is not kidney related. It's in the lower right part of my abdomen (think appendix area), but since I don't have an appendix, or ovary, or anything else over there but my colon, (and ureter) they are worried. It's not stone pain. If it was, I would already be dead because it would totally cut off what function is left. When it rains, it pours, huh?? Ok, enough of that subject!!

HI Friendly One,
I will be praying for you. Bless your heart. I am sorry. I know how it is. I have been to a GI once because they never did find my pain or cause of it.
I have had IBS for years but I don't think that is what was causing it that time but my GP sent me for a colonoscopy to rule out anything. Never found a thing but boy was I hurting. I can't remember but that might have been the time the Uro doctor said I didnt have a stone and I had 3 but I dont think it was lol
BUt I had so many tests.
I can only imagine how embarrasing that was. Bless your heart.
I will be praying for you, too.
Funny, I don't have my left ovary and you don't have yours. Oh speaking of Glucose. I read that premature babies might be more likey to get Diabetics later in life. Something to do with their pancrease Sure makes me wonder since I was born 3 months early.
So far my BG has been better. I really have to watch what I eat and if I walk that makes a hugh difference. My Beagle needs to loose more weight so we have been walking twice day for longer walks.
Oh one more thing. I have to go to an eye specialist. I have a place under my eye lid. It isn't a sty but it just looks like a flap of skin and it is getting bigger.
I am praying that God would heal it.It has been infecting my eye ,too. I had to get drops and they were 60 bucks. They help but it hasn't cleared it up yet totally. Like you said one more thing to deal with.
I get tired of it.
Thank you for praying about this stone ,too. I think it is resting cuz it hasn't bothered me or maybe it is in my badder ready to come out I hope.
God bless you my friend.
Praying for you,
Sno

Really hope that your stone will go soon. Stinks that you are deinking water, and all the otehr stuff you need and you still have to get them. I went to the urologist yesterday who said that I am extremely dehydrated, and also have a ton of calcium oxalate in my urine, both of which are big contributors to stones. He said that he wants to see me in six months. Didn't say much else, except watch my diet. Wasn't really worried about the 2 stones I have. Oh well.
I hope you are feeling better!!!

Hi, thank you. I am feeling better. I think I may have passed that stone or it is in my badder. Thank the Lord it isn't hurting.
I am sorry what you are going through ,too. How big is the two you have?
That is the kind of stones I get. I was told to watch foods w/ Oxlate in them.
Which is about everything it seems like lol.
But it will be ok. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers ,too.
I hope you can stop making stones.

My stones are 4 and 5 mm each, one in each kidney, then several 2 mm stones in both kidneys. I am hoping that they turn to out to not cause pain, but the last two that passed were 2 mm and they killed! Eeek. Oh well.
I am glad that you are feeling better! Hopefully they are gone and not lurking in there somewhere. Thanks for your prayers as well! They are much appreciated. Hopefully this stuff will end soon for both of us. I am so tired of making these suckers!!!

HI, I know exactly what you mean. I hope we all stop making them.
I had to have a bump removed from my eyelid yesterday. I didnt think the doctor would do it in the office for sure or not. It had gotten big.
It was slow but sure. lol He got it taken off from the inside of my eyelid.
LOL today it looks like someone hit me but it sure feels better.
He said to wash my eye lid with baby shampoo of all things but I sure will.
Better than getting these things anymore. I think it was started by a stye that went away.
I am so thankful it is gone. it had started to effect my vision.
I hope you have a great weekend. God bless you, Will keep praying.

Snodove,
I am glad that the doctor got your eye taken care of, and that it feels so much better. At least that is one thing that the doctors can fix. Wish they could get rid of all of these stones.

You have a blessed day as well. I am just thinking ahead to the one day where there will be no more stones. At least for right now, my stones aren't acting up. Hopefully they will wait a while before doing that (and not grow any bigger in the mean time). Wishing you the best!!

HI Daisy, me too. That will be a wonderful day and no more suffering.
We have a wonderful Savior.

I am like you thankful for no pain and no stones that I know of.
My eye and eyelid feel so much better. I didn't realize how bothersome that lump was. It was scratching my eye I think now that it is gone.

Thank you so much and talk with you soon.
God bless you,
Polly aka Snodove

Hey Polly,
We do have a wonderful Saviour. I know that had I not been a Christian, I would not be here, and that is for sure.
I am so glad for you that your eye is feeling so much better. Something scratching your eye could not have been too pleasant to have to deal with. Glad it was taken care of. :) Well, I will talk at you later.

Hi Daisy, Yes me too. I know the Lord saved me and has kept me all this time.
I am thankful you are a Christian ,too. It makes it nice. God is so good.
Thank you and I hope you are feeling better ,too. I have passed two very small stones but not anything big the past few weeks. I think I may have passed that one that was bothering me. I go today to get that blood work redone the lady messed up for my parathryoid. Just to make sure that isn't why I am making stones.
Did you ever have your's checked. I can't remember.
Have a blessed day and talk soon.

I thought this board was for people with kidney problems, not for religious zealots to use to evangalise to those of us who don't share their faith, & and to witness to each other. I don't come here for that.

I'm sorry Smiffy. I didn't mean to offend you!

Polly, I did have the parathyroid checked, and it came back normal. I had it done three times (one time they did mess it up). I am glad that you are getting yours checked. I am also glad that you think you go trid of the stone that was bothering you. Hopefully this whole mess with stones will be over. I am tired of making them!!

Hi, sorry I missed this post. Yes, I am glad I finally got that done ,too. If it shows it is not working correctly then that maybe why I am making stones. Right now, it seems to have slowed down with stone not passing. ( Just hope they aren't lurking around lol )
Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

I hope to get some time in Thanksgiving to get away some. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Will be in touch.

Hi Friendly one, Did you get to the GI doctor? Just wondering. I have been so busy but hopefully things will slow down. I have passed a few more very very small stones but not painful that I can tell much lol.
I have been trying to get ready for the Holidays. We are going to the cabin for a week and I hope I don't have any stones there.

Need to get away some.

How have you been?
Hope all is well.
Polly
