Hello,
I have a question concerning my mother who is 70 yrs. old. A few years back her right big toe really started bothering her (very painful and turned almost BLACK). I took her to a circulation doc and he said she had a circulation problem and that the blood was pooling in the big toe and thus the pain and discoloration. He gave her some meds but they didn't really help. It has gotten really bad again and today she went to a different circulation doc and he said he didn't think it was a circulation problem and didn't know what it was but she is due to have a couple tests in a couple weeks. She called her regular doctor today to prescribe some pain medication for her because it is so painful (even when the bed sheet hits it she is in pain). Has anyone come across this and have any idea what we can do about it? Any help would be appreciate. Thanks so much!!!!!
