I was wondering if there is anybody out there who suffers with pain on top of their feet? Years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus but since then we have gotten in under control and I do not show anymore symptoms. So I don't really think that is the problem. But whenever I get up sometimes I can barely walk because it feels just like the bones in my feet spread. Yes I do have bunions could this be causing the pain. Does anybody have any suggestions out there?

I thought I was the only person in the world with pain on the top of my feet. It is horrible. I walk like an old lady at times. I had a cyst on the top of one of my feet that was removed, or so they say. It is still a very large hump at the top of my foot. Don't think I will ever be painfree..

My husband is going through this. He has seen his regular doctor, a podatrist, a neurologist, and avascular doctor. Finally he saw an orthopedic doctor who said that he reptured a tendon.
My husband would almost fall over when he stood up. It didn't get better, so he saw many doctors.
We don't know if he'll get better yet, but having a diagnosis feels like an accomplishment. At least we know ht "why". I found this web page by looking for answers to what a ruptured tendon is, and what we can expect.
If your foot doesn't get better, be a pushy patient. There is truth behind the saying "it's the squeeky wheel that gets the greece."
Hope this is helpful.
