Hi! I just wanted to thank you for recommending"Codependent No More" to me. I'm only half way through but it's really opening my eyes already, I also bought my mom a copy. My name is Jessica and I'm a codependent...hahaha. No, but seriously it's true and I like that this book gives me a different way to look at things, myself, and see things (in myself and others) that I didn't before. So thanks again :)

If you want to read more along those same lines, another one that I really liked was "Boundaries" by Cloud & Townsend. It is subtitled "When to say yes, When to say no, To take control of your life". It is written from a Christian perspective, but is not at all preachy. Instead, it tells you that it's okay for Christians to say "no". That's something that I've struggled with. I thought we were supposed to give, and give, and give. Not so, says this book.
