After reading another post about that topic..i have to ask how common is this and why? my neice is 7 and she does this..my sis finds food in her drawers, under her bed etc...she doesnt abuse, neglect or have any issues with her eating. SO WHAT CAN BE THE REASON FOR THIS?

She feels like some part of her life is out of her control and she is trying to control what she can. So what is going on in the family that she has no control over? Divorce, school?

i guess some things are happening but not divorce or death..more like mom works alot and she needs more time with her..things like that. also i know she feels that her brother is the favorite one and she resents that too.

Please see that she gets the attention from mom that she needs.
