I've been noticing over the past many weeks I have numbnesss in my left heal. It usually happens at school, it becomes so numb it's hard to walk on. No pins or needles, it just goes totally numb. I have feeling in it, but it's just really asleep.
I'm not sure if this is related, but my chin is numb at times also. About a month back the doctor said to wait a few weeks but we never went back. It still bothers me, it's the same numbess feeling as in my foot. Any ideas?

I had the same thing happen to me about a year ago. I went to the podiatrist and he said a nerve was being blocked by inflammed tissue (I also had a bunion which was beginning to be painful). He suggested that I ice it for 15 minutes or so every hour, which did help, but it never really went away until I had bunion surgery.
