View Full Version : Bleach wipes and babies?

Is there a safe bleach wipe that you can use on baby toys and highchairs and such? I'm concerned because on the back of the wipes they say that if the surface comes in direct contact with food that you need to wipe it with a wet rag after you disinfect it. We took Aden to the dr. today and she said to make sure I clean his toys daily to prevent colds and she mentioned bleach wipes. What do you all use?

For the longest time, I never read the back of those wipe containers, and I used them on my daughter's high chair!! YIKES!!! LOL! She is totally fine. I always used either the clorox or the lysol brands, but have also used the off brands as well. After, I just took a wet paper towel, and went back over the surface. However, there is a spray out now call Clorox Anywhere, and is 100% safe for ALL surfaces. I think if you just sprayed a paper towel, and then wiped the toys and trays and such that it would be just as effective, without the worry of it going into his mouth. I am going to get this stuff when my DS gets into a high chair. You could check and see if they make this in a wipe, but I think it is only a spray for now. Good luck!;)

What about using that new Clorox spray that's safe even for use around food? I can't think of the name of it right now.

I couldn't imagine what life was like before Clorox Anywhere spray...it's made for non-porous surfaces, and a life saver. I use it everywhere...........changing table, and more!
