I got an IUD in July. I have not had a normal period since getting it. I spot almost everyday. My thing is this past 2 weeks I have had severe migranes and dizzy spells. Could I be pregnant? My primary doc called me today after leaving a message on the nurse line about headaches. My doc kept asking could you be pregnant. I mean I don't think so but it has got me thinking is this possible on Mirena. Has anyone else gotten pregnant on Mirena? What could be going on? Thanks.

Why would your doctor be asking you that? How would you know if the IUD failed for some reason? Did he ask you to come in to check your IUD? Or did he say whether the headaches are a side effect of the hormones? Is headache a warning sign as in bc pills?
