I'm in my fourth week of seasonique and yesterday I started bleeding, really badly. Lots and lots of blood. This morning it seemed to have stopped, however, this afternoon, it returned. I don't have sore nipples, nor water weight gain. Is this bleeding normal. It's not a little breakthrough bleeding, its severe almost uncontainable.

I'm on Seasonique too, pretty close to my 4th week also. My doctor told me to not be surprised if I did have something similar to a period. She said some people's bodies will not hold out for 3 months, so to speak, right off. She said it might take several packs of Seasonique for my body to make it the whole 3 months without a period in the middle. I don't know if you fall into that case or not. You might want to check with your doctor. Maybe call the office and tell them what is going on and see if you need to go in for an office visit or anything.

I actually called my doctor and told them about the problem. He prescribe "Ponstel" capsules which are supposed to help controlt he flow. I'll see what happens. I've taken the first two already.
