Most definitely. The virus is transmitted via skin on skin contact. That means kissing, touching your partner, oral sex, intercourse, dry sex etc. etc. etc. It also includes kissing someone on the cheek when they have a cold sore. Any or all of these things CAN transmit the virus - but not necessarily.
