gah I'm so sorry i forgot to post back. I got busy! I went shopping, got the new frames in my glasses, then my parents came home and we had dinner then I went to the gym then I did homework and BOOM it is now. Wow that was a run on sentence and congrats to anyone who can make any sense of it!

The appt went fine. She DOUBLED my dose of geodon?! huh? Oh well. I told her I couldn't afford it! eek she said she had vouchers. (well said X healthcare, where she works, will not be allowing samples to be given out anymore...but she found some geodon vouchers and is giving them to me anyway). So now I'm up to 120mg geodon!

And still the 300mg lamictal.

And she wants me to give the clonazapem another shot. I even told her I took more than I was supposed to and not when I was supposed. She said she wanted me to take it only at bed. So I had 0.5 tablets and was supposed to take 2 at bed for sleep (didn't work). One day I took five 0.5 tablets during the day. SO, she gives me 1mg tablets and tells me to take 2 of them at bedtime. Just think if I took 5 of the 1mg tabs! whoa! I'm not going to take any tonight though because I need to stay awake to do class stuff.

what else, oh yeah she wants to treat me aggressively.

She asked if I wanted to be on lithium or depakote again because they are so much cheaper. I would love to but everytime I hear the word(s) "weight gain" or "fat" I freak and shut down. I don't know. It's not that I'm just vain. I just CAN'T deal with that. I'm already nervous about starting geodon...maybe I'll gain weight with this one?!? Oh god...what do you think?

Llama,

You crack me up..... loved the sentence. I can't tell you how much better you sound!

The vouchers are they discounts or do they give you the med's for free? Either way you sound excited about it.

How is the school work coming? Did you get extensions on your work? I know I haven't turned anything in on time in 3 weeks and my GPA is going to drop. AWWWHHH.

Tiff didn't say where she was going - I hope it is some wonderful vacation spot on the beach. hehehehheheh

BTW: I am so suprised that your pDr. has you on clonazapam everynight. My pDr won't give it to me to take at night. Which stinks, since it really works. He said I could only take it for anxiety, not for sleep. Which frustrates me - since I DON"T SLEEP lately. Anyone else feeling me here???

Sounds like she is going to work out for you.... "treating you aggressively" no more getting pushed off and not listened to.

I was thinking, what about that one program that Montel Williams is part of. Something to do with Free perscriptions and an RV that he goes around the country with? Have you seen that on TV?

Have an awesome, awesome day, T

lol, thanks tony! You are such a sweetheart! I'm also very glad to read that you are feeling better as I read in your other post! That new drug must be a good one so hold onto it!

As far as schoolwork I am doing what is "absolutely necessary." oops Well I guess it is better than nothing and all in all I have been dealing with it better than I have in the last 2 years since I have been really sick! I guess that's a plus. Am sorry to hear about your gpa drop! Is there any extention thing you can do? Can you talk to your school's disability services? Do you think that is something I should do regarding that exam I missed (and the prof has not responded to my email)? It is probably too late though. I hope your profs are more understanding.

As far as the clonazapam, she said it's a good drug for sleep because it knocks you right out. And for me it does! 2mg is a whopper. lol I wonder why your pdoc disagrees. That's weird. Have you tried trazadone? That has worked for me in the past (make sure your dose is high enough for you though if you try it otherwise it will not work). I would maybe ask about the clonazepam again or ask about something else because not sleeping is a no-no for people with bp. Hopefully your pdoc will begin to "treat that aggressively" too!

And as far as that RV program (lol...sorry that just sounds funny!) well it is for people with no insurance at all. And I do have insurance...just can't afford meds! But I wonder whether or not I should try anyway? You never know I guess. Thank you for the idea!

Llama,

I am completely heart broken this morning. I can't tell you how good it is to have you here still.

Back to point: I also was looking at the Federally funded programs. I will let you know when I find out more.

I really feel like I'm coming around with my school work, but hopefully I can pull a C out of this class. I haven't even calculated my grade - I'm scared. I just messed up this block.

I start algebra and psy next class block- may be overload, who knows.

Yeah, I have talked to my Pdr. several times about the klonopin (sp). He said NO - he doesn't even want me taking Xanax to go to sleep. Funny thing is that the primary Dr. has been giving me the Klonpin for years at night for Restless Legs - works like a charm. He won't give me any sleeping aids.

until later, hubby is grumpy.

I find it odd that your pdoc will not give you any sleeping aids! Mine said it was fine. I guess pdocs vary so much! Weird, huh?

I took a very psy classes and I enjoyed them. Hopefully you will too. I hope that we are able to keep up with school ! There is so much pressure! At least we have eachother to talk to about this! :)

Yeah, your being here has been such a blessing to me. I can't believe how much I've come to need my friends here. I check the board 5 X a day. hahaha Is that OCD?

I am majoring in psyology - so I can cut down on medical bills. hahahahah
