Hi, all!
I started using Vicks about a month ago on my nail fungusy toe. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif A few days later, the nail fell off, leaving a clear nail beneath! Since then, the rest of the nail has peeled away. The nail beneath is lumpy and still growing out, but it's SUCH a relief to have that nail gone!
Can't recommend the Vicks treatment enough! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hello there,
I am curently trying the vics method an I was wondering.. I file my nail so I can get some vics on the nail, but am not really able to put it underneath the nail. Is this how you did it? How long did it take? I do notice some coloration change since the vics. I am anxious for my new nail to come in. It is on my baby toe and I have very small nails. Thanks in advance

I also am trying the vicks remedy. I was wondering if anyone knows how long it could possibly take, and how often I need to apply the Vicks, and also anything else anyone could add about using the Vicks, or their experience with it. TIA!

There were quite a few helpful posts regarding fungus and toes and treatments/info based on people's personal experiences. Just look further down the page for a post by theres126 titled Toenail Fungus!!! on 15 april.
The ONLY time i get toe nail fungus is if i leave nail polish on my toes for a lengthy period of time (eg: a month), my toe nail doesnt come off. I get a white mark to the side of each big toe nail and it grows out. Such a nuisance!!!!
