hello all. i'm very new to this forum, and i just really want to gain as much information i can on my condition as of late, and i'm not sure that doctors are always very willing to give the painstaking truth to patients about their conditions.
i was in a car accident and i rolled my truck several times, crushing the cab of the vehicle and three vertebrae in my neck. it has been 3 days since this occurred and the hospital has sent me home to do my resting. they didn't sound too sure when i asked how long it would take to heal, whether i would heal completely, or whether surgery is the best way to tackle the problem, rather than simple bed rest and a neck brace.
one other thing to note is that my left arm is extremely tingly, kind of like when you foot falls asleep or something. also, my left arm has had a dramatic decrease in strength and speed.
my main purpose for joining this forum is to see if anyone here may offer answers to some of my questions. i may be able to give basic supplementary information upon inquiry.
thanks for your consideration

You need to see a neurosurgeon or orthopedic spine surgeon immediately!!!!!! Did they do an MRI at the hospital? If so get those films and see a doctor.
