It seems to me that there is no definite way of treating low back pain and that there is a lot of misinformation on the internet about it.
One cannot make a decisions say about getting low back surgery based on what one reads in internet.
Also web sites after web sites discuss these percentages - approximately only 5% or so need surgery and in 90% of people who have low back pain it resolves in them compeletly. etc etc. They never discuss that each particular case of low back pain will different specific origin based on the injury that a person has. They make very general comments that are very misleading and cause confusion among those who are "in reality going through this trauma."
The doctors are desensitized. We are like inanimate objects. I personally went to doctor who kept mum throughout our appointment and didn't discuss alomost anything. Sometimes it seem sone has to take friends or relatives so that these so called spine doctors or pain specialists are forced to answer and explain in detail our injury, its causes, specific treatments. Voila, the same spine doctor i went to then wrote UTTER RUBBISH IN HIS SO CALLED medical notes/records that he had discuused everything about my injury to MY SATISFACTION. What a liar.
These so called spine doctors and neck/low back pain specialists are desensitized like a machine to our concerns and pains. They lie in their medical records and notes what happened during the appointments. They refuse to take the time to explain in detail or anything at all or answer anything about our physical trauma.
What would happen if our own treated stem cells could make spinal disks. Ha, these spine surgeons and so called neck/low back pain specialists would LOSE THEIR BUSINESS AND WE WOULD STOP COMING FURTHER FOR TREATMENTS. I think that is why there is no definite treatment for spinal injuries.
They treat the symptoms and not the underlying problem and it seldom works.
I have little faith left in doctors.
