Hi I have a 5 yr old daughter with mutiple swollen nodes in the upper and lower parts of her neck ..........she has been tested for all infection which were all negative , she has a moderatly elevated white blood cell count and anemia (dietary)... We have been to see an ENT who removed her tonsils and adenoid tissue and biopsied the tonsils-------nothing to remark on.
She is scheduled to revisit ENT in 6 months ..........she has night sweats every other night mostly confined to head but a weekly body sweat with wet pjs. Around a week ago i noticed a smallsoft mobile node pop up above the right collar bone and she seems to have a night time/first thing in the morning cough! My question should i just wait out the six months or should i be concerned....she had a 4lb weight loss and slight loss of appetite always seems tired but not excessively.....any advice would be appreciated
thankyou......ps if a tonsil shows nothing does that mean the other lypmh nodes are ok or could the enlarged tonsil thrown them off the nodes?
Cheers all x

I would take her now and explain your concerns because my husband just found out that he has Lymphoma and it took the doctor's 6 months to figure it out. He also had the night sweats as that is a big sign. I am not a doctor but I would ask if they could at least rule out Lymphoma. I hope this helps you.:)
