Dr told me today that I have acid reflux with mucous. She prescribed Aciphex. Has anyone tried this medicine, and does it work? Anyone have side affects?

Yes, I have taken Aciphex. While I have not had any side effects from them they did not help me, not even at twice per day dosage. This does not mean it wont help you though. Everyone is different. Good luck.

stacy58, The best advice I can give you is take the meds as prescribed for at least 30 days. During this time don't dwell on the reflux problem and do not visit this board or others like it. Just go about your life as you did befor the doc told you it was acid reflux. My guess is that after 30 days you'll be feeling much better.
