Hi there,
Welcome to the board.
I'm here often---I have Hodgkin's & am in treatment.
It's always nice to hear from people on the weekends-- sometimes it's too quiet here. This is "my home away from home."
I'm not real familiar with what you have, but I've seen many people here with that diagnosis....and many success stories.
It's always a whirlwind, getting your diagnosis and throwing your life off-balance---but, treatments have come a long way, and the prognosis of lymphoma has come leaps & bounds, too.
Take a deep breath (I take many, believe me) and go into the next few weeks with the knowledge that it "can be beat."

I love your kid's names. Those are great ages. It sounds like you're truly blessed.
I had a different chemo than you're having---and it's not easy....but, you'll get through it. I'm sure you'll meet some other people on here that can advise you more than me. ...Just want you to know, you're not alone.
God bless.
S.

Hi Niki, I'm glad you joined the site, everyone is amazing!
Anyway, yeah i have a serious fear of vomitting and throughout my treatment i think i was only sick a couple of times. (it's a bit blurry at times). i think both times i had the flu and they give you antiemetics which you should take whether your feeling nausous or not. i usually felt nausous for about 4 days after treatment (i had ABVD chemo) and dairy products esp. vanilla milkshakes which a few people on here have agreed with help the sick feeling! i also had a huge appetite during chemo and craved fatty foods which i think also stopped me from feeling sick.
