They could easily be missing things. It would help to know what tests have been done. Also see if you can be seen by an reproductive Endocrongolist(sp) This way as soon as youfind otu you are pregnant they can test your progestrone because if the levels are low that can trigger miscarriage.

Hi Shona

Im so sorry for your losses. My friend is currently going through a similar situation as yourself, she has had two miscarraiges and a stillborn. At the moment she is going through a cycle assessment and the IF specialist will do the same when she falls preggo so that they can catch any problems early. I would strongly suggest going to a IF specialist to find out what is happening.
Wishing you the best of luck

It is possible that your progesterone levels are not high enough. You should check with your doctor to see if they will test your levels periodically after ovulation.

My doctor prescribed Prometrium, which is progesterone, as soon as I called to tell them I received a +hpt. It is supposed to help prevent miscarriages - if it is due to low levels. Unfortunately, it did not prevent mine, probably because it had nothing to do with my hormone levels.
They also sent me for a plethora of bloodwork - hormones, thyroid, clotting disorders, autoimmune, etc. He also ordered karyotyping for both my husband and me to check our chromosomes.

I hope they find what is going on. I've only had one miscarriage, so I know the pain and emotions, but I can't imagine going through it multiple times. Make sure they look into everything.

Are you seeing a reproductive endocrinologist or fertility specialist or are you just seeing a regular ob/gyn?

This may be a dumb question, but are your pregnancies confirmed by hpt or betas? Have they looked into some types of ovarian cysts that can cause you to have hcg hormone in your body?

I'm sorry you are going through this...I hope you find an answer soon...

We're all pulling for you!
