I had a 2nd surgery 6/2007 because the 2nd surgeon felt not enough bone had been shaved. I am still unable to move my big toe and I cannot put pressure on my foot, causing me to walk with a limp.

Is shaving all that was done?-- No breaking and realigning the bone or anything like that? Did the doctor have you bend your big toe after the surgery? (I was told to start doing that a lot after the second week post-surgery to increase flexibility.) Is physical therapy an option? Be persistent about getting relief-- Pursue a third orthopedic surgeon or podiatrist opinion if needed. Good luck!
