my baby girl (16 years old) has been diagnosed with epiepsy though im not sure that this is correct, she has very little of your tipical epilepsy symtoms, she loses conciseness for hours at a time she has no convolsions only complains about headaches before and after she had an episode this started about a year ago her first episode lasted about 15 - 20 min. the last one she had lasted for 4 hours

You don't always show spastic movements, or even the tightning of the limbs in seizures. There is no "typical" seizure definition for what one may exhibit. There are many types of seizures that exist from light to extreme.

In her last seizure, were you able to awaken her, as if she was sleeping?

Post-seizure (after the seizure) if it is a gran-mal, often times I will be tired and need rest for an hour or so to allow my body to recover slightly. Thats why I was asking the question above.

The seizure itself for a GM is usually not more than 5 minutes. If it is longer then the patient should be brought to the hospital if the seizure does not end on it's own. You do not want potential damage to the brain.

Another possible is ask the person if they remember anything. They may not. However as an outsider, we do not know.

Not sure if that helps at all, hope it does.
