Foot pain and more foot pain! No bunions etc. I have tried it all: orthodics, berkenstocks, barefoot, flats shoes, sandels, etc! Heel pain is the worse, but general foot pain experienced too. This used to come and go, but worked 3 12 hour days totally on my feet and now it has been since January and still pain! Hot soaks help a little bit, but as soon as I walk on em again, the pain returns. Now they even hurt when I am sitting! Doc says maybe a shot of cortisone !@@! Anyone tried this? Did it help, or is it just a painful attempt to no avail?

Your heel pain may be caused from "Plantars facitiis". Foot soaks don't help much. You should try iceing your feet for pain. I use a flexable ice pack at the arch & heel area for 10-15 min. They recomend stretching excersises for the calf muscles. I haven't tried the cortizone shots, you can't have too many of them, you can develop other problems, and its only a quick fix.
