All it seems is that everyone on this message boards talks about bunions. There are more severe problems (ex.amputee of the foot and what its like to go though that). So there are more problems with the foot than bunions I know bunions are painful and they hurt but c'mon that is everybody talks about on the healthboard
lets discuss my problem amputee on one foot and total foot reconstucted. I'm permantly disabled for life only 31. So it really upsets me to see all these people whining about bunions.

Every one has problems. You can just assume that yours are any more important than others.

Bunions are a lot that is talked about on this board, i think because of how common it is especially in women. If it makes you feel better, I started out with a bunion, had surgery 6 months ago, and now can't walk because of nerves, and pain, and I really think my surgeon messed up. I hope that you find support for you disability and lead a normal, even it is in this disgustingly hot weather,(I am in tempe), so I know. this board is set up so that people can share their experiences or concerns about health topics. there are no restrictions on what people here can and cannot share about in regards to their foot-related problems. just because few or none (until you) have step forward to talk about their amputation on this site should not be any reason for you to reprimand those who choose to share their concerns about bunions. just think, you may be the first person to actually bring this type of topic to the foot problems board - and yet you choose to reprimand those of us who do NOT have amputations for NOT talking about it???????? there are topics other than bunions here - but maybe it just happens that there is a great number of us with this ailment, or that maybe just so many of us have found this forum and choose to talk about it. you sound extremely bitter, and i'm sorry that you have not found a forum with the kind of positive response that many of us bunion sufferers have found here. i DO hope that you will find a group that can relate to your ailment and give you support.

a piece of advice to trevs -

try typing in "foot amputee" in the subject line - it might help you catch the attention of others interested in your topic. i actually found this sight by searching "bunions" through google. you might be able to find someone interested in this topic if they, too, can search for "foot amputee" or "foot amputation" and be linked to your forum. i truly do wish you luck in finding a supportive group to share your experiences with.
