I just have a quick question.....About 4 1/2 weeks ago, I twisted my left ankle. I heard a snap, and I went down. Immediately, I could not put any pressure on it, and it started to swell and turn black and blue slightly, but not too bad. I went into the doctor's, he took one xray, and said the xray wasn't a good one, but that it wasn't broken. He wrapped it, told me what to do for a sprain, and put me on crutches for week. He did not want to see me again. Well, 2 weeks later, it was still sore, still swollen, and was still having trouble with a limp and not having full movement. I made another appointment with another doctor. He took 2 more xrays, and told me that I had a fracture in the distal fibula. He told me to only work 4 hours at a time, and to stay off it as much as possible. He also, did not want to see me again. Part of this, may have been becuz I don't have any health insurance. It is now 4 1/2 weeks later. It is still VERY unstable. I have twisted it, and am on the slightest unlevelness (sp?) of the ground, my foot twists. Well, it had gotten better. Now though, my foot up by my toes is a slight black and blue, and sore (on top of my foot)...... My ankle is still pretty sore, where it is broke. And, I do not know what to do now. I am thinking I should probably call the doctor again. Oh yea, when I first hurt it, it swelled on top of my foot, and my whole foot was black and blue! Thanks for anyone's help!!! Thanks
