When I wake up in the morning the top of my foot between my ankle and toes and on each side there appears to be dark brownish patches very dark in color. They are not sore and they fade (but do not completely disappear) almost instantly once I stand. Almost as instantly my feet begin to swell..............

I would suggest seeing a doctor. You coul have a circulatory problem.

The blood may not be flowing properly in your lower extrimities.
