my nephew just had his blood tested for leukemia. So far the blood cell counts look normal, but I am wondering if you develop leukemia, do the cell counts go weird right away, or can you have the disease for a while before it shows up on the blood tests?

Most times the blood cells will be like 75 or lower! And or higher!

hi.i had luekaemia for years before it showed in my bloods.my blood counts were always fine,they dropped very dramatically in two weeks.then i was diagnosed with a bone marrow biopsy.they can tell more from the bone marrow then they can from the bloods.;)
