I had an abscessed tooth out a few weeks ago and my face is still swollen. I was scheduled to have another one pulled tomorrow and 2 more need root canals but I am sick and had to cancel. Do you think there is another abscess now in one of my other teeth? I can't tell if it's on the top or bottom of my mouth either. I don't when I can get in and don't know what to do... The only other problem I have is a wisdom tooth coming in but it doesn't hurt or anything.

It could be abscessed or some sort of infection. If you can't get a appt. at the dentist soon, you can always go to the ER and have it checked out. They can check it out and at least write you a presciption for some kind of antibotics.
