What are the side effects?

klonopin is a benzo. a nervous system depressant meant to relax you..depending on dosage it can make you you very sleepy.

Sometimes it can cause hair loss - alopecia - so if you comb or brush your hair and see more than 'some' strands...or if you wash your hair and the drain gets clogged...talk to your doctor right away.

Jeez, never heard that one.

nature, I know what you mean! With side effects like that how do they expect us to be sane? jeez

And yes, klonopin can be very sedating at higher doses. My pdoc gave it to me for sleep.

Never heard of the hair loss side effect either! Jeez! Hopefully none of us will get that one.
