I went SO long feeling great and bam, its back. I am getting sharp pains again (though not as bad the first time) a gurgeling sound in my throat, my stomach actually burns from time to time and when I lay down I feel like my throat is closed. I actually woke up the other night gasping for air! It must have come back because I have been eating lots of salads with onions and tomatoes :(

Does anyone else have it this bad?

I took the liberty of refilling an old prescription for Aciphex so hopefully I get better.

I am calling my doc today, guess I need to get over the fear of getting an endoscopy done.

When I have an attack which is usually once every month or two, the best way to describe it is to say if feels like someone has just dumped a jar of hot sauce down my throat. Only it comes from below. I have felt that chocking feelling as well as aspirating in my lungs now and then. I feel your pain. I have been on Nexium for years and it isn't working too well anymore.

Hello K2626, your describing what I get exactly. Was feeling really good then it came back for about a month. Now I'm starting to feel much better. It's crazy.
