my name is dan ive been diagnosed with athsma long ago when i was 7. i am currently 19 all my life i have had no athsma symptoms at all. until recently. Is it possible that my athsma has gotten worse permanently? and if so how do i treat this every day struggle of breathing.

Go to a pulmonologist and get a proper dx. Then use whatever meds you are prescribed.

Don't feel alone, a very similar thing happened to me. I was diagnosed and had symptoms when I was young, but virtually none during high school. They all came back during Senior year of college. So, yes, it can happen. Definately go see a doctor, they will be able to help you lots.

I have had asthma for 11 years and the last 5 years have been alot worse than the beginning ones. I think I had asthma before I was officially diagnosed but it was not as bad as it is now.
