View Full Version : Disability question

Hi all, I am still in appeal with the disability. But sometimes wonder if they ever put detectives on you to see if it is fraud. I know it sounds paranoid but on good days I will bring in the trah or play catch with my sons. And always feel like if SSI saw me now they would think I am not sick. But then five minutes later I could be so dizzy and sick and in pain.

My husband used to be a private investigator for unemployment fraud and would follow people and tape them and get them prosecuted. Obviuously I am not frauding but can't help but wonder about SSI doing this???

If anyone knows let me know.

Thanks,
Deena

Hi Deena,

If you were doing workcomp then I would say yes watch who is hiding behind the bushes...

I can't imagine that happening with SS...the government would have to pan out alot of money to hire P.I's....

But until your case is settleded maybe stay low key.

good luck

:D
