Ok, I am a mom of 4. I have a 12 month old who is back on his meds for asthma or broncolitis or what ever it is.
Right now he is on the 5 day liquid steroid to rid him of the liquid in his lungs, pulmicort and xopenenx.
Like the first question i read, my son acts crazy on these drugs.
I hate to give it to him. But I have to and it does help.
So my question is two things, the Dr said i can mix these two drugs but i want to know if it could cause any problems to how he's acting. Could it be why he is so hyper and then really cranky following?
The second question is that it takes so long to give him these two drugs that I didn’t finish the treatment last night and forgot about it. When I woke up this morning, I noticed the mask was holding it still from last night. Is that bad? Will it cause something bad in there with the two drugs mixed, and sitting? I will clean it before giving it to him... but I need to know did I just screw things up? Again?
