Ladies please tell me the best way to help lipstick stay on your lips. At least for a few hours before you have to reapply! My lips are not dry so I know that is not the problem. I also know that there are many different formulas out there that you apply something on your lips and then apply their lipstick (like it comes in a combo pack). The thing is I have a very natural looking lipstick that I like alot and I just want that to stay on at least for 2 or 3 hours before I reapply. I have a 4 year old so I can't constantly be going in the bathroom to apply makeup (lol). Anything I can buy that will help? any ideas would be welcome. Thanks

use a thing called "lipcote" you should be able to get it in most pharmacys. You apply it over your own lipstick. It really does work! infact when i wear it sometimes the next morning the lipstick is still on if i don't take it off before bed! It lasts all day. i reconmend you give it a try!

Why not just use a lip liner. I bought one for .99. They are great. Try Cover Girl stay on lip color too!! Stays on all day.

I just got back from a wedding today.. 6 hours on, i can still see it.
I put my lipstick on,
Grab a tissue place it betweeen my lips and press.. or even kiss it.
Most of it will come off on the tissue but not all of it.
Re apply yr lipstick again.. Vo Laa !!!!
Should last for hours. See how you go.

The dryer the lipstick, the longer it will stay on. Look for matte finish rather than glossy. The glossy lipstick comes right off (well, almost). The only prob with matte is that it looks dull.
So...put on a matte lipstick, cover it with a colorless gloss or with a glossy lipstick. The matte will sort of stain your lips, the gloss will give it some shine.
