My 78 year old mother three weeks ago had a tumer removed from her pancrius. Everything went well, the tumer was localized, and the surgon was confident all the cancer was removed. She is heeling quickly and even left the hospital a week early. This week the tests on her lymp nodes came back with out of the 16 removed 15 were clean however 1 had 1 canser cell in it. The doctors are now recommending cemo therapy. My mother is a relativly healthy women for her age (except for this), is this therapy to much for a person of her age.

Can I ask, what symptoms did she have that led to the diagnosis.
