I am 11 days off subutex and still very weak and cannot sleep. I try to push myself each day as if nothing were wrong, however I am running out of the mental toughness to keep going every day as I have been. I began taking hydrocodone about 4 years ago due to various pains from a long past of playing football. I started out slow, and as with all of these drugs began taking more and more. I stopped taking the hydrocodone and switched to methadone. I began taking 80 mg per day. At my peak, I was taking between 450 to 500 mg per day, between 15 and 20, 40mg pills. I was able to work my way down to only 10 mg per day and then back to the hydrocodone. I started the subutex program about two months ago. I took 24 mg per day and worked my way off after 7 weeks. I went thru fairly severe withdrawls for about 3 days. after 11 days now I am still not ok. I am to weak to even get out of bed for any length of time. I still have body fever and restlessness and cannot sleep. I need to be able to sleep to allow my body to heal, what can I do to sleep? it has gotten better, but not close to normal. i can only hope it will end soon.

are you not able to get back on the sub? Maybe you need to taper a bit longer...

My freind, It sounds like you need some professional help. I had to do the same so I checked myself into inpatient detox. If possible you should too. At the very least get under a doctors supervision to help you with this. Good luck. Mud.
