I have started taking Aciphex again, worked like a charm months and months ago when I first started having issues. When I finished my original bottle, I never refilled it. Well now my acid issue is back and worse than ever before. I actually almost went to the hospital last night because I had such bad burning in my stomach, along with cramps, and a general belly ache, also I had major chest pains and fizzing in my throat. I have only been back on my aciphex about 4 days. I cannot remember, does it get worse before it gets better when on meds?

Its past 11 here and now all of a sudden the acid is starting to kick in again, I was doing so so today. Probably because I ate dinner?

I think when you stop taking PPI's, you can get rebound reflux. Maybe thats what is happening to you...
I hope you feel better soon-
